Nelle nomination dei Grammy 2016 non c’è Adele (e non è l’unica grande assente)

Il 15 febbraio 2016 il mondo dell’industria musicale made in USA assegnerà i Grammy Awards, gli Oscar della musica. E, ironia della sorte, quel che si ricorderà è l’assenza della grande protagonista del momento, Adele. Ma non fate correre la mente a chissà quali congetture, nessun caso diplomatico all’orizzonte. Semplicemente, da regolamento, sono in gara gli album e le canzoni pubblicate entro il 30 settembre, e 25 è uscito il 20 novembre. Probabile incetta di premi solo rimandata per lei – nel 2012 con 21 se ne è aggiudicata ben sei -, qualche pensiero in più per i suoi colleghi-avversari, che se la ritroveranno in gara l’anno prossimo.

La cerimonia di consegna si svolgerà allo Staples Center di Los Angeles ed è già partito il toto scommesse su chi saranno i vincitori. Al momento, sulla carta, sul podio ci sono Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd e Taylor Swift, il primo con 11 nomination e gli altri due con sette. Non se la cavano male nemmeno Florence + The Machine, in lizza in cinque categorie.

Tra i grandi assenti invece ci sono Madonna con il suo ultimo album Rebel Heart, Drake che sta spopolando ovunque con il singolo Hotline Bling, Rihanna – che ha lanciato ben 4 singoli quest’anno, in attesa del nuovo disco. Non c’è spazio neanche per Justin Bieber, One Direction, Jason Derulo, e resteranno a casa anche i Mumford & Sons.
