Record Store Day: gli album e gli eventi nelle principali città

Il Record Store Day 2015 si celebra il 18 aprile. Moltissime le pubblicazioni speciali e gli eventi previsti per l’occasione. Ecco la lista delle uscite e degli appuntamenti a cui partecipare in tutta Italia.


Il Record Store Day è sempre più importante. Nato originariamente come celebrazione dei negozi indipendenti di musica degli Stati Uniti, è diventato negli anni un evento sempre più importante e, soprattutto globale. Merito della “rinascita” del vinile a cui stiamo assistendo in questi anni e delle numerosissime adesioni di artisti e band di ogni lingua e nazionalità.

Quest’anno c’è la classica ciliegina sulla torta: Dave Grohl, leader dei Foo Fighters ed ex batterista dei Nirvana, è l’ambasciatore dell’edizione 2015. Non a caso, i Foo Fighters pubblicheranno per l’occasione Songs From The Laundry Room, un Ep di quattro tracce formato da demo inediti e cover. Ma sono già state confermate molte altre pubblicazioni speciali.

I Metallica per esempio consegneranno al mercato la ristampa in audiocassetta del primo storico demo No Life ‘Til Leather, uscito nel 1982. Robert Plant, storica voce dei Led Zeppelin, pubblicherà un Ep contenente quattro versioni live di brani eseguiti nel corso del tour 2014 con i suoi Sensational Space Shifters. Tra questi ci sarà anche la ben conosciuta Whole Lotta Love. Da segnarsi in agenda anche Bruce Springsteen (che riedita 7 suoi storici album in vinile) e gli U2, che hanno deciso di dare alle stampe una speciale deluxe edition di Songs of Innocence.
